A Note from Our Founder

Travel, at its core, is about connection—to people, places, and experiences that shift our perspective. That belief started for me during a gap year from Princeton University, when I found myself in Zanzibar, diving into a world I had never known existed. What began as a passion for the ocean quickly turned into something bigger—a desire to create meaningful, immersive travel experiences that go beyond just passing through a place.

Years later, after working as a scuba dive master and seeing the fragile beauty of Tanzania’s marine ecosystems, I pursued my MBA at the University of Oxford to refine my vision. That vision became BE Tanzania—a travel experience designed to be personal, immersive, and responsible, where every journey is about more than just seeing—it’s about feeling, learning, and truly being part of the places you visit.

At BE, we believe in travel that is deeply connected—whether it’s spending time with communities whose traditions have remained unchanged for centuries, taking a first dive in Zanzibar’s turquoise waters, or embracing the rhythm of life here. It’s about slowing down, being present, and letting a place leave its mark on you.

Tanzania has given me so much, and through BE, I hope to share its beauty, its people, and its energy with you.

BE present, BE curious, and BE part of this journey.
